Stanley L. Braden, Jr., 86

Stanley Lee Braden Jr., 86, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 in Stein Hospice in Norwalk, Ohio.

Born May 5, 1932 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Stanley Lee Braden, Sr. and Marjore Emma (Staker) Braden, he was a graduate of Wheelersburg High School Class of 1950, attended Ohio University and Thomas More College. He served in the United State Air Force from 1952 to 1972.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Braden; daughter, Peggy Ann (Braden) Gaddis; brother, Robert Dean Braden; three step daughters, Deborah (Eugene) Hopkins, JoAnne (Arthur) Chaffee, Gina (Michael) Dobberstein; five step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara A. Braden, and two sisters, Martha A. Sanford and Nancy S. Higgenbotham.

Funeral services will be conducted Noon Friday, November 23, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church in Powellsville with Rev. Don Moeser officiating. Friends may call at the church from 11 to Noon prior to the service on Friday. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg.
