Elsie Louise Blevins

Wheelersburg-Elsie Louise Blevins, 71, of Wheelersburg, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. Elsie was born March 8, 1947 in Lawrence County to the late Amos and Thelma Massie White. She is of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Blevins, Sr., December 18, 2012. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Virgil Blevins, Jr. and Richard Blevins. Elsie is survived by three sons, Raymond Blevins, Robert Blevins and Tim (Dorothy) Blevins; six daughters, Julie (John) Armstrong, Bonnie Blevins, Shonda (Jeff) Danner, Connie Blevins Rosie (Steve) Ghee and Lori Blevins; a brother Tom White; twenty-seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the 1:00 pm service hour on Tuesday. www.harrison-pyles.com.
