Dear Kathi, Butch, Marty, Dwayne, and all the rest of the family— I'm deeply saddened by the loss of your mom, whom I knew all my life as "Aunt Peg", and who was more like a sister than an aunt to my mother Mildred (daughter of Tom's sister Clara, for those unfamiliar with the intricacies of our extended family). It's so good that you were able to be with her during those final hours. Even though she was outwardly unresponsive, your words and touches were the best comfort she could have had. Even though I didn't get to play Scrabble with Aunt Peg that often, I'll always remember that lively session we had at the Jones family reunion a few years back (I'm quite sure that she won). With love and hugs all around, Barry and Judy
