To the Phillips Family, We want to express our deepest sympathy to all of you in the passing of dear Carol. She was a one of a kind, strong in spirit and faith. She led her family without pause or reservation, wanting the very best for all of them, and loving them unashamedly. She had a fervor that is rare to see, and she held a level of respect from others that was well earned and never crossed. She was the dear "Mamaw" to our precious son-in-law and to our daughter, and her role in their lives has been profound. The legacy that she has left behind will always be carried on to future Phillips' generations. She had a life full of stories and experiences that told of her unapologetic faith and conviction, something that the rest of the world has lost. She definitely left her footprint in this world, and now in glory, sits at the feet of Jesus and is there to receive her family one day in a glorious reunion. She will be sorely missed by many, and there's no replacing her here on earth. We are comforted in knowing that she is whole, happy, and relieved of any physical limitations that this earthly body could offer. God bless you all, and please know that our thoughts, prayers, and love are with each one of you. We celebrate Carol's life along with you, and revere the person that she was. Love, Tom and Ginger

I had the good fortune to work with several senior nurses in my career. CC was one of them.Jan Duncan,Pearl Hopper and Sara Shannon. I collected Pearls of Wisdom from each. These women wrote the book on what a great surgical nurse is. R.I.P. Carol. You will be missed.
