Joshua Nathan Maggard

FRANKLIN FURNACE-Joshua Nathan Maggard, 43, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Joshua was born August 3, 1977 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Donald Jerome Maggard and Joyce Elaine Gleim Maggard. He had been employed as Parts Supervisor for Sunoco Chemicals, Inc. and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. In addition to his parents, Joshua was preceded in death by a brother, Greg Maggard and a niece, Heidi Cline Taylor. Joshua is survived by a daughter, Katelyn Elaine Maggard; a brother, Matthew (Kim) Maggard; four sisters, Rebeckah Maggard, Donita (Glenn) Eskridge, Vivian (Bob) Riftel and Alice Maggard and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Services for Joshua will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Powellsville with Rev. Brent Cavendish officiating. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, February 5, 2021 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
