John Albert Cox, Jr.

WHEELERSBURG-John Albert Cox, Jr., 87, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at his home. John was born December 29, 1933 in Springfield, Ohio to the late John Albert Cox and Gladys McDaniel Cox. John was employed as a sand blaster for Concrete Coating and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister. John is survived by his wife, Janet Waddell Cox whom he married September 11, 1985 in Covington, KY; three sons, Jack Cox, Michael Wheeler and Lee Wheeler; two daughters, Maria Cox and Karen Ferrell and twelve grandchildren.

Graveside services for John will be 12:00 noon Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Junior Furnace Cemetery with American Legion, James Dickey Post #23 presenting Military Honors.
