Jerry Lee Collingsworth

WHEELERSBURG-Jerry Lee Collingsworth, 85, of Wheelersburg passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in McDermott. Jerry was born in Scioto County, May 5, 1936 to the late John Collingsworth and Grace Marshall Collingsworth. Jerry was employed by Schneider Trucking as a Truck Driver; he was a member of AQHA, WVQHA and NSBA and he was a member of Cornerstone Nazarene Church. In addition to his parents Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene “Carol” Griffy Collingsworth, whom he married November 7, 1958. Jerry was also preceded in death by a grandson, Clint Collingsworth; two brothers, Ronnie and John and a sister, Rosemary Morrison. Jerry is survived by a son, Jerry Lee (Tami) Collingsworth; a daughter, Robin (Zach) Dunham and two grandchildren, Ashley (Chad) Kuhlwein and Scott (Stephanie) Dunham.

Services for Jerry will be 11:00 am Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Andy Ramey Officiating. Interment will be in Wheelersburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00-9:00 pm Tuesday, May 3, 2022 and one hour before the 11:00 am service on Wednesday.
