FRANKLIN FURNACE-Ralph Edward Ison, 66, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. Ralph was born August 20, 1956 in New Castle, PA to the late Homer Ison and Betty Munday Ison. Ralph was an Air Force veteran. He had an Associate Degree and was employed by CSX as a conductor. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by a brother, David Ison. Ralph is survived by his wife, Linda Esther Willis Ison; two daughters, Amy Kathleen (Jay) Humble and Alison Mackenzie Ison (Nathan); a brother, Rob Ison and two grandchildren, Scarlet Humble and Elias Welsh.

Services for Ralph will be 7:00 pm Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday.
