WHEELERSBURG-Marijo Pyles, 87, of Wheelersburg, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Best Care Nursing Center in Wheelersburg. Marijo was born February 6, 1936 in Wheelersburg to the late Walter Wagner and Julia Rolfe Wagner. Marijo had a BA degree and was employed as a Registered Nurse at Hillview Retirement Center. She was a member of Wheelersburg United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Marijo was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. “Burger” Pyles January 12, 2018, whom she married September 10, 1959. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ervin Wagner. Marijo is survived by three sons, Robert “Dave” (Connie) Pyles, Richard (Beverly) Pyles and Rex (Jenny) Pyles; a brother, Gerald Wagner; six grandchildren, Julie, Ross (Raigan), Jacob, Jonathan, Anna, and Lucy and two great grandchildren, Trenton, and Noah.
Services for Marijo will be 7:00 pm Friday, June 9, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Perry Prosch officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, 4:00 pm until the 7:00 pm service. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
