Robert Knappenberger, Jr.

WHEELERSBURG-Robert Knappenberger Jr. 69, of Wheelersburg passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at his home. Robert was born March 6, 1954 in Portsmouth to the late Robert Knappenberger, and Lena Kelly Ruth. Robert was employed as a Boilermaker with CSX. He was a Marine Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Robert is survived by his daughter, Sara Rose Knappenberger (Billy Phipps); four brothers, Barry (Gloria), Dale (Bobbi), Tim (Tammy) and Mark (Charlene) Knappenberger; two sisters, Patty Smith (Bob) and Nita Knappenberger (Mandy) and two grandchildren, Dalton and Braxton Phipps.
