Donald Willard Davis
WHEELERSBURG-Donald Willard Davis, 80, of Wheelersburg, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Concord Healthcare Center in Wheelersburg. Don was born May 28, 1943 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Donald Marion Davis and Mary Hoovler Davis. Don was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. He obtained a BA Degree from Ohio University and was employed as District Manager for the Social Security Administration. Don was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus; Local Area of Aging and State Board of Area of Aging and he was an assistant soccer coach at Wheelersburg. Don is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Baker Davis whom he married January 27, 1968 in Shelby, OH. He is also survived by two sons, Andrew Davis and Eric (Amy) Davis and two grandchildren, Dylan Davis and Elizabeth Davis. Don loved being with his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Peter in Chains Cemetery with Military Graveside Honors. The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 pm Monday, December 18, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Recital of the Rosary at 7:30 pm.
