Shirley Mae Rucker
WHEELERSBURG-Shirley Mae Rucker, 80, of Wheelersburg, OH (formerly of Elkview, WV) passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Concord Health and Rehab. She was born April 12, 1943 in Blue Creek, WV. Shirley was a homemaker and loved her children and grandchildren deeply. Her smile and laughter could light up the room. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Fannie Anderson, her brother, Michael Anderson, and brothers-in-law, Steve Comer and Daniel Lee. Shirley is survived by her brother, Bill Anderson and her sisters, Eva Lee and Virginia Comer, her two sons, Randy (Anita) Anderson and Robert (Cindy) Thompson. Shirley is also survived by two grandchildren and three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Shirley will be 5:00 pm Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, 3:00 pm until the 5:00 pm service. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.

I have a lot of great memories growing up, with my aunt Shirley. She was very good to me, and nicknamed me her lil princess. She loved spending time with her family . She will be greatly missed .
