Michaelann Thornsberry

FRANKLIN FURNACE-Michaelann Thornsberry, 73, of Franklin Furnace passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at her home. Michaelann was born June 25, 1951 in Lynchburg, VA to the late Herbert Shaffer and Doris Lewis Shaffer. She was employed as a Pipeliner for Texas Eastern Gas and was a member of Waits Baptist Church. Michaelann is survived by her husband, James Thornsberry whom she married April 26, 1986 in Greenup, KY. She is also survived by a son, Bill (Wendy) Ison of Franklin Furnace; two daughters, Rhonda (Roland) Maynard of Franklin Furnace, OH and Courtney (Jeff) Keaton of Lucasville, OH; a brother, Clyde Robertson, sisters, Rosalee Watson, Linda Gough and Tammy Sue; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Jonathon, Cassidy, Ethan, Grayson, Zeke, Hannah and Jeffrey and six great grandchildren, Draydon, Taylor, Kami, Gabe. Lakelyn and Lucian.

Services for Michaelann will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Brent Saxton officiating. Interment will be in Haverhill Cemetery. Visitation for Michaelann will be at the funeral home 10:30 am Saturday until the 11:00 am service. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
