Donna Smith, 92, of Wheelersburg, OH, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the SOMC Hospice Center. She was born December 14, 1933, in Portsmouth, OH to the late Watt Leonard Roe Sr. and Lena Scotland (Rose) Roe and also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Smith on March 6, 2001. Donna was a homemaker who spent her life taking care of the people she loved. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Watt Leonard Roe Jr; a sister-in-law: Billie Roe and a niece: Cheryl Diane Lemon. Those left to celebrate her life are nieces and nephews: Larry Roe, Richard (Lisa) Roe, Jeffrey (Carol) Roe, Kelley (Donnie) Smith and many great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews other friends and family that will miss her greatly. The family would like to thank SOMC Hospice and Home Helpers for the excellent care they provided. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to SOMC Hospice in Donna’s memory. A funeral service will be 1:00pm, Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, 11623 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH with Pastor Brian Baer officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Burial Park, Wheelersburg, OH. Visitation will be 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
