Janet Ruth Cox

WHEELERSBURG-Janet Cox was born in Franklin Furnace, Ohio on February 11, 1942. She entered Heaven’s Gate on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Janet was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, John “Jack” Cox Jr.; her sister, Janie Bostwick and parents, Jesse and Bertha Waddell. Janet is survived by her daughter, Karen (Ken) Ferrell and son, Michael (Leighann) Wheeler and brothers, Jerry (Marilee) Waddell and Ron Waddell; five grandchildren, Brian (Tabitha) Settle, Kristyn (Tyler) Massie, Dustin Wheeler, Joshua (Sarah) Wheeler, Landon Wheeler and ten great grandchildren.

An intimate family service celebrating Janet’s life will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, 11623 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH 45694. Interment will follow in Junior Furnace Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
