WHEELERSBURG-Paula Dawn Knapp Jones, 58, of Wheelersburg went peacefully to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at her parents’ home in Powellsville. Paula was born November 16, 1965 to Paul and Donna Schafer Knapp at Mercy Hospital in Portsmouth. She attended Harding Elementary School and graduated from Green Township High School and VoTech in 1984. On November 6, 2004 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, David Jones, and was blessed with three “little blessings” Ryan, Emily, and Kyle Jones. Paula worked as a hair stylist for 35 years in several different salons. She was a faithful member of Pine Creek Free Will Baptist Church where she served as a song leader, Sunday School leader and assistant church treasurer. Paula is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, David Jones, three blessing children, Ryan Jones and Emily Jones Sturchio (Collin) of Winder, GA and Kyle Jones of Wheelersburg, and parents, Paul and Donna Schafer Knapp of Powellsville. Paula was preceded in death by her grandparents, Floyd and Juanita Schafer and Marvin and Elizabeth Knapp.

A celebration of Paula’s life will take place on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 11:00 am at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Allen Harner and Rusty Larter officiating. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and one hour prior to the 11:00 am service on Monday.
