John Edward Spriggs

HILLSBORO-John Edward Spriggs, 82, of Hillsboro passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at home. John was born September 12, 1941 in Minford to the late William Edward Spriggs and Maude May (Smith) Spriggs. John was a Minford High School graduate and served in the Naval Reserve for seven years. He retired from UPS as a Hub Manager. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Lou Spriggs and an infant son, William Gregory Spriggs. John is survived by two sons, Brian Edward Spriggs, (Jennifer) of Hillsboro and Shawn Michael “Mike” Spriggs, (Rachel) of Greenfield. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Megan Nance, Casey Spriggs, Desi Hinkle (Cody), Faith Spriggs, Logan Spriggs, Zeb Brewer and Kendall Spriggs and five great grandchildren.

Visitation and a celebration of life for John will be 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Friday, June 21, 2024 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
