Raymond E. Caldwell Sr.

Raymond “Mountain” Caldwell Sr., 52, of Portsmouth, OH, passed away on July 5, 2025 at SOMC Hospital.

Raymond was a very well-liked man who would do anything for anyone. He loved music with a passion and was an amazing, talented musician. He knew everything and anything there was to know about music.

Raymond is survived by his daughter, Ivy Caldwell “George Mason Jr.”, and soon to be first born granddaughter Rachel. As well as many siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends. He will be very dearly missed. He is proceeded in death by his wife Bobbi Caldwell, one son Raymond Caldwell Jr, and one daughter Rachel Caldwell.

Donations can be made to Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, OH. Raymond will be cremated and his memorial will be held at a later date.
