James Collins
1942 - 2025
He was born December 27, 1942, in Portsmouth to the late Eugene and Carol Gahm Collins. He married his wife, Geneene Chamberlin, on November 11, 1961.
He was a business owner of Collins and Associates Technical Services, Inc., formerly known as CATSI in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Founded in 1979.
Jim was a retired plumber/pipefitter and proud member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 577. He was a member of Western Sun Masonic Lodge #91, 32nd degree Mason Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, and a Kentucky Colonel. He was kindhearted to the less fortunate and generous to others in need.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Jayme (Gregg) Collins, and son, Scott (Wendi) Collins, 2 sisters: Carolyn (Garry) Fuller and Anita (Larry) Mills, and sister-in-law, Kay Collins; 4 grandchildren: Andrew (Hannah) Collins, Abbey (Dave) Maxwell, Luke Collins, and Dylan (Chloe) Collins; 4 great-grandchildren: David, Daniel, and Dean Collins and Peter Maxwell; and special friend and fishing buddy, Roger Williams.
Preceded in death by his wife, Geneene Chamberlin Collins, and brother, Steve Collins.
A very special thanks to his caregiver, Brenda, for her love and care and also to Courtyard Assisted Living, Hillview Nursing Home, and SOMC Hospice.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Harrison Pyles Funeral Home with Pastor Zack Conkel officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM and 1 hour before the funeral service. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg.

Iam so happy I was able to meet this special man and his family. I would go in every morning and ask him.
