Barbara Clevenger

Barbara Ann Clevenger, 86, of Wheelersburg , Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday , November 14, 2025 at the SOMC Hospice Center. She was born on February 24, 1939 to her late parents; Ellis and Ann (Gonzales) Hewitt. She is survived by her husband, Jack Clevenger, who she married August 27, 1954. Barbara was a homemaker and loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by many brothers: Jack, Ellis and Bob Hewitt; sisters: Mary Teeter, Thelma Mathena, Anna Oakley and Betty Hood; a grandson; a daughter-in-law: Kim Clevenger and a son-in-law: Dave Perkins. In addition to her husband, those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Jack Clevenger, Jerry (Debbie) Clevenger, Steve Clevenger and Bob (Cherry) Clevenger; a daughter: Barb Perkins and several family and friends that will miss her. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, 11623 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg , Ohio with her daughter, Barb Perkins officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow the funeral in Memorial Burial Park.

Barb will be missed by all who came in contact with her. Jack did such a good job caring for her their 71 years of marriage. She was one of a kind and I will miss her beautiful smile and sense of humor.
