Les  HillLeslie Vernon Hill December 29, 1947 – June 26, 2026 Les, age 78, went to be with the Lord, peacefully surrounded by family in his home. He was raised in Wheelersburg, Ohio and lived in Lancaster, Ohio. Les lived a life defined by hard work, love, and devotion to his family. Les proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was a pipefitter for Local 577 and retired from GM after 24 years. He dedicated himself to his family and the people he loved. He was known as an amazing man whose wisdom, strength, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a father figure to every young person he met. His greatest joys were fishing, gardening and WORK. Whether spending time on the water, in the garden, in the garage or sharing time with family and friends, he found happiness in a simple life. Above all else, he loved his family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Brenda Sue (Reed) Hill ; his son, Anthony Vernon Hill (Mary); his daughter, Alice DeAnne Hill (George); his grandchildren, Brett Hill (Jessica), Brooke Hill, Nathaniel Willey (Breanna), and Waylon Hill; his great-granddaughter, Natalie Hill; and his siblings William Kirk Hill, Karen (Hill) Miller, and Larry Baker. Les was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Garnet Hill and his mother Aiko Alice Hill; his beloved granddaughter, Dallas McKenzie Willey; and his siblings Beverly Stiles, Don Baker, Brenda Richmond and Debbie Richmond. His family finds comfort in knowing he has been reunited with them. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio with visitation on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with pre-services visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Les's legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family and friends, will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. I am so sorry to hear that brent and Jessica hill lost their beloved Family member but rest easy knowing that he is in a better place without any pain or suffering. I am glad that Natalie got to spend time with him.

I hve so many wonderful beautiful memories growing up with uncle Les ❤️ aunt sue,family cousins,spending every summer with him and grandparents farm fishing crawled hunting in creek,riding horses,riding fourwheelers huge family dinners with everyone around table enjoying eachother company 😀 so many laughs,smiles our hearts was always filled with joy.He will forever be truly missed but NEVER EVER FORGOTTEN R.I.P.UNCLE LES I LIVE YOU
